Frequently asked questions

Does Georgia have smoke shops?

Yes. There are smoke shops all across Georgia, and Cloud 9 is one of the best, with locations from metro Atlanta down to Columbus and Macon, and up into the North Georgia mountains.

What's the difference between a smoke shop and a head shop?

A smoke shop mainly focuses on tobacco and vape-related items like cigarettes, cigars, hookahs, e-liquids, and nicotine vapes. A head shop specializes in glass pipes, water pipes, grinders, dab rigs, and other gear for herbal use. Cloud 9 combines both under one roof.

How do I find the Cloud 9 nearest me?

Use the search bar and map above. Type your city, zip code, or a store name and we'll show the closest matches with hours, phone numbers, and directions. Prefer scrolling? Every Georgia location is also listed above.

What's the best smoke shop in Atlanta, Georgia?

We might be a little biased, but we hear from customers all the time that Cloud 9 is their favorite in Atlanta, and with locations across the city there's probably one close to you.

What products can I find at a Georgia Cloud 9?

A comprehensive selection of premium tobacco, CBD, and vape products, plus smoking accessories including glass pipes, water pipes, vaporizers, and rolling papers. Exact stock can vary slightly by location.

Are Georgia Cloud 9 locations open late?

Most locations keep extended hours, many open until midnight or later. Hours vary by store and day of the week, so check the specific location above, or call ahead to confirm before you visit.

Do I need to be 21 to enter or buy from a Cloud 9 in Georgia?

Yes. Georgia law requires retailers to verify that customers are 21 or older before selling tobacco, vapor, or hemp products, and you'll need a valid ID to enter.

What license does a smoke shop need in Georgia?

Retailers selling tobacco and vapor products in Georgia must register for a Tobacco/Vapor Retail Dealer license through the Georgia Department of Revenue, in addition to verifying customers are 21 or older.

Can I smoke inside a Cloud 9 in Georgia?

Georgia's Smokefree Air Act exempts licensed retail tobacco stores, so smoking is generally allowed inside, as long as secondhand smoke doesn't drift into nearby non-smoking areas. Store-specific policies can still vary, so check signage or ask staff when you visit.

Is CBD and hemp-derived THC legal in Georgia?

Yes, with rules. Under the Georgia Hemp Farming Act and 2024's SB 494, hemp-derived products like CBD and low-THC items including delta-8 are legal for adults 21 and older, as long as they stay under Georgia's 0.3% delta-9 THC limit, come with required lab testing and warning labels, and meet the state's serving-size and packaging rules. Raw hemp flower can't be sold at retail regardless of THC level. Everything Cloud 9 carries is sourced to meet these state requirements.

Can I order online or call ahead?

Cloud 9 locations are focused on the in-store experience for expert guidance and hands-on product selection. Call your local store directly to ask about phone orders or curbside pickup.
